Studio update: What we’ve been up to for January 2026
Well, that month was a long one, but simultaneously, how is it February already?! It’s certainly been lovely to get back into the swing of things after the winter break. While a bit of a shock to the system at first, we find having a routine so important and it feels good to have a bit of normality after the irregularity of the festive season.
Our current projects: L V Prasad Eye Institute, WITNESS and Synergy
As we began the new year, we dove straight back into projects from the end of 2025, including our work with eye care organisation, L V Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI), and the US-based human rights group, WITNESS. Both of these are WordPress projects and have involved consolidating a large number of sub-sites into one new website with an improved design and user experience. We’ve been building momentum with these projects and are looking forward to sharing their launches in the upcoming months.
We’ve also been busy wrapping up a project with Synergy, one of our long-term corporate clients, this month. We’re excited to be able to share the project soon and take a look at the different challenges and opportunities we’ve experienced when working in a different sector to the norm.
What’s coming up for us next month
January has been an excellent month of new beginnings – we’ve got a number of new projects booked in to start in spring this year:
InCommon Foundation
Firstly, we’re beginning a new phase of work with our existing clients, InCommon Foundation, to make improvements to the online platform we previously built for them. We have a Discovery Workshop coming up with them where we’ll prioritise the tasks for this sprint. If you’re interested in finding out about our work with InCommon and the platform we built for them, have a read of our case study.

The International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB)
We’ve been working with the IAPB for a little while now on their amazing Vision Atlas project, a website that provides real-time data for professionals in the global eye health sector. We’ve just signed a new contract with a different department within the organisation where we’ll be working on designing and building a microsite to support an upcoming event later in the year. IAPB is such a fantastic organisation to be working with and we can’t wait to get started on this new phase with them!

The Complete Works
The team at The Complete Works came to us at the beginning of 2025 for assistance in updating their online platform to better serve their needs. We’ve been working with them since then, making improvements to the platform, and are very pleased to announce we’ll be continuing that journey as they renew and increase their Bureau+ contract with us. Bureau+ is a service we offer to new and existing clients that offers ongoing support and access to guidance to make the most of your organisation’s growth and implement actionable change. We’re delighted with the opportunity to continue this work with the team to keep moving the platform forward and making it the best experience it can be for their end users.

In other news…
- Alongside our usual work of designing and building websites, we’ve been thinking internally in the business about the things we want to achieve this year. One of those things is working through a series of workshops over the next few weeks that we designed to help us redefine our direction and the services we offer to our clients. Exciting times 🙌!
- We’ve sent out two editions of our newsletter, Bureau for Good, that you can view on our website. Why not sign up while you’re there? Bureau for Good is a newsletter focused on the charity and non-profit sector that goes out twice a month 📆, featuring things we think those in this industry will find useful and interesting – these include articles and links to helpful and relevant topics, client shoutouts 📢 and spotlights for all the incredible work they do or any awards they might be up for, and our own blog posts with handy advice and thoughts.
When we’re away from our desks, Ben – our Director and Technical Lead – has been using his turbo trainer to keep up with his cycling training 🚴♂️ while it’s so wet out ☔. Design Lead and Director, Tash, hasn’t been so lucky on the staying inside front, but she’s been enjoying some soggy dog walks with TIB mascot doggo, Monty. Look at his happy face 🐶

We hope you enjoyed this little roundup of our month! If any of our projects sound interesting, you can have a read about the outcomes of some of them in our case studies.
