Studio update: What we’ve been up to for September/October 2025
September whizzed past in a blur and we now find ourselves fully stuck into October 🍁🍂. It’s been quite full on, with some large website projects underway and trying to be more present on socials! Have a read below of what we’ve been up to lately…
Our current big project: L V Prasad Eye Institute

We’ve been continuing our work with the L V Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI) based in India – they’re an eye health organisation whose mission is to provide equitable and quality eye care to all sections of society. Currently, we’re deep in the development stage and are doing a lot of QA testing to ensure the design is implemented correctly. It’s been great to work with the LVPEI team on this project. We’re excited to launch this in the near future!
Our latest project launch: IAPB Vision Atlas – Investment Case

Recently, we launched the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB)’s new Investment Case section on their Vision Atlas website, having designed and built it ready for the 80th UN General Assembly. IAPB took part in a high-level side event as part of the General Assembly, hosted by the Honourable Gaston Browne, the Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda – this event showcased “The Value of Vision: The Case for Investment” alongside support from the UN Friends of Vision group.
This new section of the Vision Atlas website is being used to promote the case for investment in global eye health, with reports, engaging data visualisations and stats, as well as useful advice for leaders and investors. It’s a great resource for those working in the eye health sector. You can check out the Global and Country pages now.
Both L V Prasad Eye Institute and the International Agency for Preventing Blindness have just celebrated World Sight Day. They’ve been raising awareness on how everyone can benefit from prioritising eye health and a new report demonstrating why investment in global eye health is so important.

In other news…

We’ve shared some insights into how we work at The Idea Bureau through some ‘Day in the Life’ posts where we look deeper into Tash – our Design Lead/ Director – and Ben – our Technical Lead/Director – go about their usual schedules. A couple of the key takeaways from these are:
- It’s good to keep active and take breaks during the day – it’ll help you be able to focus when you need to and switch off when you don’t (i.e. at lunch, the end of the day).
- Try to have a routine, especially at the beginning and end of the day, because it puts you in a good mindset to get working and also when you finish work, so you can relax in the evening.

Each month, we continue to serve our Bureau+ clients, keeping their websites and software secure and updated. We also work with them to improve their websites’ features and functionality, and answer any queries they may have. If you’re interested in finding out more about our Bureau+ service, go check out the page on our website 👉🏻
We’re also getting stuck into prepping for Q4, as Christmas will be here before we know it and our calendar is booked for a solid 6 months! Lots of new, exciting projects to get stuck into on the horizon…
What’s coming up for us next month:
- Tash will be working on wireframes for our human rights client: their team is currently busy getting content together for us – it’s super important that we’re wireframing and designing websites with real content, so they can see what it will look like when it’s completed!
- Ben will be continuing to work on development for the L V Prasad Eye Institute

Monty – TIB’s mascot doggo 🐶 – says “stay frosty!” We’ll see you soon 😉
Take care!
