Studio update: What we’ve been up to March 2026

Hello! Welcome to our studio update for March. We’ve got some interesting announcements, some special dates to celebrate, and also a number of useful things to share with you. Grab a cup of your favourite beverage ☕️ and take some time to find out what we’ve been up to:

This month marks the 13th anniversary of The Idea Bureau 🙌🎉🎂 we can’t believe how fast that time has gone. So many excellent projects to look back on…we wanted to share a few of our highlights from the previous year and beyond…

We’ve also launched two new projects this month. It’s always lovely to get to the point where we can finally share what we’ve been working on! Have a read below to find out what we’ve been working on:

IAPB’s Global Summit

We’ve been continuing to work with The International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB), this time for their Global Summit, which takes place towards the end of the year in Antigua and Barbuda. The purpose of the interim landing page was to give people an idea of what the Global Summit is going to be about and when it is whilst we’re busy working on the full website. We’re now busy working on the full website that’s due to launch at the end of April, but for now, it’s really great to announce that we’ve published the landing page to help people find out more about the event.

Legal Atlas for Equal Nationality Rights

We’re pleased to have launched a Legal Atlas for The Global Campaign for Equal Nationality Rights. The charitable organisation is mobilising international action to end gender discrimination in nationality laws: 45 countries have nationality laws that deny women the right to confer nationality to either their child or spouse, or to acquire, change or retain their nationality on an equal basis with men, and they came to us to help demonstrate this data in a way that would be easily digestible for their audiences. The Legal Atlas we built will help to bring their work to life.

Bureau for Good newsletter

We’ve published two Bureau for Good editions this month. Some of the useful links we’ve included are:

• Charities Aid Foundation have published their UK Giving Report for 2026: an excellent resource into the state of UK fundraising and public donations.
• Designer, Laura Kalbag, has released her book, “Accessibility for Everyone”, for free for everyone to be able to read and learn from – it contains some great tips for accessibility best practices.
• Wendy van Eyck – a non-profit brand and communications strategist, whose content we’re a big fan of – shared a really insightful post on LinkedIn on charities and non-profits need to have a bit more courage when putting out their content.

Bureau for Good is our twice monthly newsletter where we send out our blog posts full of helpful resources for those in the charity and non-profit sectors, interesting links and shout out about the work our amazing clients are doing. Make sure to sign up, if you haven’t already 👉

A ‘Day in the Life’ update from Tash

Our Design Lead and Director, Tash, recently shared an updated ‘Day in the Life’ post with what she’s been up to on LinkedIn. In it, she talked about some client calls, including a very early one for a client in Australia (!); working with Figma, a design service that’s great for UX and UI design; and also some of the things she does to break up the work-life balance.

Our latest blog post

We shared our most recent blog post: a resource on building a digital toolbox full of useful services and apps to help fundraising and marketing teams boost their productivity. It features a number of products we either use currently, or have previously used, with some other examples thrown in for good measure. Have a read to see which ones we’ve recommended >

Mascot doggo, Monty’s birthday

It was Monty, our office mascot doggo’s birthday last week 🐶🎁. He went out with all his friends on his birthday for a group dog walk, had a birthday cake and also a yummy present (some ‘Oreo’ style dog cookies). There were also lots of cuddles for this most excellent of pups, who is now 3 years old! Happy birthday, Monty 🥳

What’s coming up for us next month:

• We’re excited to say that our website project with L V Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI) will be launching in April. It’s been a labour of love and we’re looking forward to talking more about it soon. Keep your eyes peeled 👀 for a case study in the not too distant future, but we’ll share a link to the project in the BfG newsletter and on LinkedIn when it’s live 🙌
• A WordPress website design and build project we’ve been working on for one of our long-standing corporate clients is due to go live mid-April – we’re excited to be able to finally share that with you shortly!
• It’s Easter this week ✝️ 🐣🥚🍫! After a very busy March, we’re looking forward to some time off in April. Just a heads up that the TIB office will be closed for a week from Good Friday until the following Friday. We look forward to hearing how your Easter break has been when we get back. Enjoy 👍
