Review of 2025 and looking forward to 2026
We wanted to wrap up 2025 with a look back on the exciting projects and amazing clients we worked with, as well as a little peek into what 2026 might bring. Here are some of our standout achievements, highlights and thoughts:
The projects we’ve worked on…
We worked on some great website builds that launched in 2025, but two of them really stood out for us. One was creating the Vision Atlas – a highly comprehensive data repository and visually stunning evidence platform – to help the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness build their case for investment and provide detailed information for those in the eye health sector.
The other project was redesigning The Resilience Project’s site to better fit their purpose of helping passionate young changemakers and climate activists to be able to do their work and avoid burning out. Have a read below about the two projects, who the organisations are and what we did for them.
The International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB)

The International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) is a collective made up of 250 organisations worldwide, all working towards the same goal: offering affordable, accessible and inclusive eye care to all. Their aim with the project was to create a highly comprehensive repository – a Vision Atlas – that would provide data and evidence on global eye health to assist others in giving this invaluable care. To build this, we implemented multiple technologies to capture their 40+ data sources, all with an engaging and informative design that brings this vital information to life.
In September, IAPB joined other eye healthcare organisations at the 80th United Nations General Assembly to present their case for investment, ‘The Value of Vision.’ For this, we built a new section of the Vision Atlas that includes reports, engaging data visualisations and stats, as well as useful advice for leaders and investors – an amazing resource for those working in the eye health sector.
“Ben and Tash did a great job bringing the new Vision Atlas to life. They were consistently responsive, detail-focused, and thoughtful in how they approached both design and technical challenges. Our collaboration with The Idea Bureau worked really well, and the launch of the Vision Atlas has been extremely well received.”
The Resilience Project

The Resilience Project team came to us for help in redesigning their existing website. They’re an organisation that support young people who are passionate about climate action to sustain their impact without sacrificing their wellbeing. Their work sits at the intersection of mental health, inner development and climate justice, as they help changemakers navigate climate anxiety, avoid burnout and activate their resilience.
We worked with them through our design and build process to create a WordPress site that would fit their needs. Beginning with a discovery workshop to learn what their requirements were, we collaborated to set deadlines and goals for the project to keep us all on track. We then set about designing and building the website to become what it is now. It’s been an honour to assist The Resilience Project in their work of building a world where caring for people and the planet go hand in hand – this new site will hopefully promote their mission, their offerings and be of great benefit to their users.
“It was such a pleasure to work with The Idea Bureau! The team are kind, patient and go above and beyond to deliver an incredible end product. Their expertise was evident and their advice excellent in every phase of the process, from the initial discovery workshop right through to post-launch support. I couldn’t recommend working with them more!”
We’ll have some new case studies launching in the new year for both The Resilience Project and IAPB, so keep your eyes peeled – they’ll give a more detailed look at what we built for the two organisations and how it’s helping them to be the best at what they do.
How we’ve been developing our business…
At the beginning of 2025, we worked with a Project Management Coach over a couple of months to help us redefine how we run our projects and the ways we work internally. We took them through our end-to-end processes and any difficulties we’d come across, then worked together to redefine project roles and how we could improve our processes to make everything run more smoothly.
In July, we also started working with our marketing freelancer, Jess Darnes Writes, to revamp our social media content, particularly our LinkedIn account. We’d been collaborating with Jess on our blog posts (Resources) for a little while before that, and Jess has been writing case studies for us for the last couple of years. It’s been great to grow our working relationship and we love to see our social channels growing!

What we’ve achieved…
We shared 22 Bureau for Good newsletters, discussing topics such as fundraising ideas and code of practice, accessibility tips and guides, and issues around sustainability. We also featured our clients updates and wins (including Alitex’s 20 years of working with the National Trust, CEO of InCommon Foundation, Hannah Mason, was shortlisted for Rising Chief Executive at the Third Sector Awards and Founder of The Resilience Project, Katie Hodgetts, published a book), and shared our recent blog posts, like our Day in the Life series (Ben’s edition and Tash’s edition) and boosting donations for charities through implementing user friendly donation features.
We published 21 new resources on our website – these are our blog posts where we share ideas, tips and advice on topics we think are relevant to our readers, and updates from the studio. Some of our favourites are:
- How to break up bottlenecks in your marketing team
- The benefits of having a resource library for charities and non-profits
- Why we think company values matter
Another achievement we’re really proud of is we reached one of our sustainability goals by moving all of our clients’ websites that we support with hosting over to a green hosting platform. That’s 27 websites that are now using a sustainably run hosting platform that can serve their users’ content using energy sources that prioritise renewable energy and carbon offsetting. You can read a bit more about what this is and why we think it’s important on our recent blog post >
The people we’ve worked with…
So, who are the clients we’ve worked with? They include organisations across many sectors, for example: human rights, eye health, climate justice, children’s rights, education, financial transparency and more. They’re based across the UK, and further afield, including India, Australia and America.
Alongside our core projects, we also continued to support our Bureau+ clients with our business growth and support service. This service allows us to partner with our clients, such as Ecosystems Knowledge Network, The Complete Works and Consortium for Street Children, to assist in developing their digital strategy and achieving the fundamentals for a successful website. We pride ourselves on giving our clients continued support to make actionable change and empower their organisations.
We’ve talked in more depth about the type of clients we work with in this blog post >
Our local impact…

For Christmas, we decided to donate £500 on behalf of our clients to a local charity called bibic: they support children, young people and adults with brain injuries, and a wide range of other disabilities, special educational needs, developmental conditions and learning difficulties. We wanted to put our money where our mouth is and give something back.
Looking forward to the new year and welcoming in 2026!
Three of our projects are launching in these first few months of 2026: there are two large websites for charity organisations and another for a long standing corporate client. We’ve been working hard on these projects over the last year and are excited for them to go live so they can begin to flourish and take on a life of their own.
So, that was 2025! We’re looking forward to hitting the ground running this month, and with the projects above launching, and other new ones about to start, we’ve got lots to keep us busy. If you’re interested in doing something in 2026, you can always drop us a message to start a conversation about your next big idea.
